The processing and service environment of tubing and casing shall be fully considered in the design of spacer ring, which shall not only be protected from environmental corrosion, but also have sufficient capacity to withstand impact.
PVC (soft) PVC is used as the main raw material for the isolation ring. This material has:
Good chemical stability; Acid and alkali corrosion resistance; Low temperature and high temperature resistance; It is not easy to age and embrittle in high and low temperature environment; Resistance to moisture and aging; Refractory.
The isolation ring has good physical properties and good tensile strength; Ensure no breakage during installation and transportation; Moderate elasticity. Excessive elasticity will not play a role in isolation, and the steel pipe may still contact under the weight of steel pipe or external force; Too small elasticity is easy to damage the paint on the steel pipe surface. In size design, the inner diameter of the isolating ring is 1% larger than the corresponding pipe body, which ensures that the isolating ring is easy to buckle and not easy to loosen; The radial thickness of the ring body is generally 15-20 mm, and the axial thickness is generally 10-15 mm.
Use instructions:
Generally speaking, the spacer ring shall be added after the pipe body is threaded, and the spacer ring shall be removed before the pipe body is lowered into the oil well.
When using the elastic cross type isolation ring, just unfold the isolation ring and wind it along the radial direction of the pipe body, and then close the socket; When using the elastic plug-in isolation ring, just insert the two components to be inserted into the corresponding insertion position along the radial direction of the pipe body. Remove the spacer ring in the opposite way. It is quite simple and convenient to use.
In order to effectively prevent the contact and collision of the pipe body and protect the pipe and thread, it is recommended to use 3-4 isolating rings for each pipe.
