The working principle of the air-operated thread protectors is based on pressurization by rig air (72 to 130 psi, or 496 to 896 kPa), ensuring easy installation and reliable protection for all API standard and premium threads.

 instructions

1. Connect the air charging pipeline and hand-held air charging gun based on the air pressurization of the drilling rig, and make the rubber part of the air gun fit with the end face of the air inlet.

2. While pressing down firmly, hold the air charging gun and observe the indication of the air gauge.

3. When the rated pressure is reached, the pin end of casing tubing is gripped and protected.

4. The protection operation of releasing the casing tubing pin end is very simple, even without using any tools, just press the air filling hole, and the release of the casing tubing pin end is completed after the air is released
